Choosing the baby clothes for your child, especially for those who are still babies, really requires some special consideration. The reason is because baby skin is still very sensitive. Wrong choice of fabric can result in future problems. Baby skin is very easy to absorb substances stuck in its surface. Dangerous substances can be present on the clothes it’s wearing.
Due to this reason, taking care of baby skin health has to be done from the smallest thing, such as the clothing fabric, texture, shape until ornaments attached on the baby clothes. If the texture is rough, the friction between baby skin and clothing fabric will irritate the baby skin. Baby skin contains high lipid content so that it makes easier for irritants to pass through the skin.
The contact between clothing and baby skin presents on the whole body, so choose the baby clothes that is safe and comfortable for the whole body. Safe means not dangerous, from the consideration of the fabric material used (the best fabric is cotton). Next is, the color does not fade, due to the improper coloring process. It does not result in itchiness and allergies on the skin.
It is better to apply warm clothes on cold weather, and thin ones on the summer, as well as properly matched with the baby environment condition. Another factor from comfortable is that the clothes has to have good air circulation, not too tight, smooth fabric, and easily absorb sweats.
